- The NBK & Weyay-Aura co-branded card is an exciting offering for Aura members and NBK customers who are residents of Kuwait and hold a valid Kuwaiti ID. The co-branded card allows members to earn Aura co-brand points on every eligible purchase, while enjoying the many benefits offered by both Aura and NBK.
- How can I apply for an NBK & Weyay-Aura Cards?
- To register and apply for the NBK & Weyay-Aura Cards simply visit: nbk.com/ace or https://www.weyaybank.com/m/App/Download to download the app. Be sure to link your Aura membership number at the time of registration if you already have one. If you don't have an Aura account, simply download the Aura MENA app from the Apple App Store or Google Play to register.
- What is a co-branded offer?
- Aura, the lifestyle loyalty programme of Alshaya, has partnered with NBK & Weyay Bank in Kuwait to offer members the opportunity to sign up for a Mastercard credit or prepaid card allowing them earn Aura co-brand points with every purchase. Points earned from eligible spending can be redeemed for goods and experiences from any of the 50+ participating Alshaya brands.
- I am an existing NBK cardholder. How do I know if I am using an NBK & Weyay-Aura card?
- Existing members can easily verify if they hold an NBK & Weyay-Aura Card by looking for the Aura logo on their Mastercard, indicating it is a co-branded card. Alternatively, customers can contact their bank at +965 1801801. Weyay card holders can call +965 1880011 to inquire about the Aura co-branded card.
- As an existing Aura member, am I automatically approved for an NBK & Weyay-Aura co-branded credit card?
- No, the bank (NBK) must adhere to banking regulations set by the authorized regulatory body; therefore, there is no automatic approval for Aura members.
- What are the benefits of having an NBK & Weyay-Aura co-branded card?

- I have an NBK credit card. Can I switch to an NBK & Weyay-Aura Cards? Is there a fee for switching cards?
- The NBK & Weyay-Aura Card is free for the first year. However, it is recommended to check with our partner, NBK, for more options and relevant information on switching cards and applicable offers. For assistance, contact +965 1801801 and +965 1880011 for Weyay customers. Be sure to mention your Aura membership ID when reaching out to NBK.
- Where can I use points earned from using my co-branded card?
- Aura's exclusive benefits and offerings are easily accessible through the Aura app or by exploring the benefits section online. Click here
- How can I check the Aura points credited to my account from using the co-branded card?
- The Aura app offers excellent features and functionality. Simply log in to your Aura account, click on 'More,' and select 'Transactions' to view the co-branded points credited to your account.
- Can I earn Aura points with my co-brand card when used outside of Kuwait, or are they limited to spending in Kuwait?
- Yes, members are eligible to earn co-brand points when using the co-brand card outside of Kuwait. However, members should note that the points earned on international spending are calculated differently and may vary.
- Can members of my friends and family account view and use my points from co-branded spending?
- Viewing card transactions is limited to the account holder. However, as part of the Aura’s Friends and Family scheme, members of your Friends and Family account can view the total number of Aura points and utilize the points credited to the group’s account.
- Will I earn co-brand points if I paid for my family beneficiary's card?
- The awarding of co-brand points is based on the Aura account linked to the co-brand card at the time of registration, regardless of the payment arrangement. It is the member's responsibility to ensure the correct Aura account is linked to the co-brand card.
- How can I change the Aura account linked to the co-brand card?
- To change the Aura ID linked to a co-brand card, members must visit NBK offices in Kuwait with the necessary documents, including proof of Aura account ownership (e.g., the mobile number linked to the Aura card). Once the account is delinked, the new account will begin receiving the co-brand points.
- Can I have more than one co-brand card linked to my aura account?
- Yes, a member can have multiple co-brand cards and link to one Aura account ID.
- What are the co-brand card limitations and exclusions?
- Earning points from the co-brand card excludes payments on card charges, late fees, etc. You can access the detailed list by visiting the NBK & Weyay web site. Click here for more information.
